Released last night 31 March 2020, it is now possible to play the Campaign Mode of COD MW2 Remastered. One of the most emblematic experiences in the history of video games is back.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Campaign, a fully enhanced version of the critically acclaimed Single Player adventure, is available for purchase now, first on PlayStation 4 from the PlayStation Network, and pre-ordered on other platforms. A temporary exclusivity on PS4
This Remastered version of the famous 2009 FPS of Activision is currently only available on PS4. Activision has signed a temporary one-month exclusivity agreement with PlayStation. As a result, the game is only available on PS4.
Xbox One and PC gamers will have to wait until April 30th to relive the fully remastered epic campaign of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Price and size of the game
COD MW2 Remastered Campaign Remastered costs $19.99 on the US PlayStation Store and £19.99 on the UK PlayStation Store. As for the size, you should also have 47.57 GB on your hard drive to be able to download and install the game. Note that Xbox One and PC players can already pre-order the game.
Enhanced Graphics and a fully Remastered Quality
This new version offers gamers completely remastered graphics, in HD, even supporting 4K. Texture details, physically based rendering, animations, and high-dynamic-range lighting have been greatly improved. Beenox, the studio behind this remaster, did not forget the audio, which has also been remastered.
The game includes the full campaign remastered with stunning high-definition graphics – up to 4K resolution and HDR support on console; as well as unlimited framerate and ultra-wide monitor support on PC.
The goal is to offer the new generations of players as well as COD veterans a chance to relive the epic campaign fully remastered.
No Multiplayer and cooperative modes: only the single-player Campaign
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is only the Campaign Mode of the award-winning latest generation title series and not its multiplayer component, although we hope it comes separately ASAP.
Note that the Multiplayer and Cooperative Modes are not included so as not to negatively impact the multiplayer modes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) or the very recent Call of Duty: Warzone.

The Campaign Missions
